Liwan - Fig & Frankincense Reed Diffuser

The liwan is the arched room that opens onto the courtyard — shaded, always a little cooler, where the house catches its breath in the afternoon.

Green fig over Arabian frankincense. Milky and cool at the top, warm and resinous underneath. Subtle by design: it won't hit you at the door or compete with what's cooking. It sits low in a room and holds there, still noticeable at the end of the evening and still there the next morning.

Frosted amber glass, turned walnut collar, black reeds.

Sizing: 250ml lasts around three months — right for a bedroom or study. 500ml lasts around six months — sized for a majlis or living room. 1250ml runs well past a year — for large, open spaces. Three reeds for a bedroom, five for a majlis. Flip them once a week — that's the whole routine.
